Inside the stone are the thin dichroic layers from the original X‑cube. These layers were engineered to split light into pure red, green, and blue channels. When viewed through facets, they create vivid flashes of neon blue, electric green, golden yellow, and saturated red, shifting dynamically as the stone rotates.
